the Ell Diaries: hi!!!!!!!!! and this has also turned into a jake appreciation post hhahahha hi jakob

somehow its february already (practically MARCH)! the snow on the mountains out my dorm window is pretty much gone... which is crazy cuz i feel like i just graduated yesterday.

JAKEY GOT HIS MISSION CALL YESTERDAY!

i cried like a baby. i'm just going to miss him so much. oh btw jake is my cutie boyfriend. anywayssss, hes going to PERU! lima central to be exact! peru never even crossed my mine! but it's so perfect and he's so excited, and im just so happy and excited for him and ahhh!!!!! he's leaving july 12th and going straight to the peru mtc! we have 137 days left together which is nuts!!!!!!!!!!! unless i leave before him, which i hope is not the case! oh ya i turn my mission papers in hopefully on tuesday! but i leave for hawaii on Wednesday so if i cant then it'll be when i come home! im going to hawaii to see my mom, step dad and little asian cutie bb brother. cant wait!

so ya, thats life rn!

but really i cant look at pictures of jake without crying or getting a bit teary-eyed. so whenever i look at my phone im like ah here we go (TEARS).

but lets get real for a sec.. jake is going to be such an incredible missionary. i know he will be such a force for good in the Lords hands. this past year (ya weird we've almost been dating a year whaaaat) jake has been such a light in my life. he has been an example of true kindness, humility, love, selflessness, happiness and faith. it's been so fun as together we've been preparing for our missions. together we've been reading the book of mormon- being able to experience jake's testimony of the book of mormon has been a true privilege. my life has been happier because of jake. i know he will change the lives of the people in peru just as he has mine. i'm so lucky to have someone so special in my life. i am so proud of him and his faithfulness to serve the Lord. i am so excited for the experiences and miracles jake will soon get to see! golly, i'm lucky to have you jake!

sooo yep, that is SUPER exciting!

"LIIIMMMAAA PERUUUUU"! i yelled this at jake yesterday probably one hundred times cuz i was so pumped and still in shock hahaha. he thinks im annoying anyways so im just going to keep yelling that at him ;))))))))))

and have fun eating chicken hearts and sleeping with massive cockroaches jakey!!!!!!!!!
